For lunch or at the very least, coffee. It could be at a park or someplace the would be conducive to private chat. I think you can know within a few minutes if you feel a connection with a person...other than that...if there's interest from both parties, then move forward to other things that are more time consuming.

I have some hours for my private pilot's license and would love to finish that. I want to learn to play golf, I love para-sailing and swimming. I would be open to some new things...I'm not a danger seeker though, I won't bungee or skydive, LOL.

I think a person can have a lot of fun doing nothing...if they are with the right person but, if I have to mention "things" here are a few of the things I find fun. Theme Parks, Searching out towns for what they have to offer...new places, a quaint town or deli, watching a movie together or a baseball game, learning golf, LOL, dancing, walking and, so many other things.
