I am looking for a dark haired beauty who has a love of life and the belief that every day is a gift not to be taken for granted. She should be the type of lady who is capable of moments of serendipity, someone who is playful, someone who has a good sense of humor. Ideally, she will like most of the same things that I do, but that's not necessarily set in stone. My dream "girl" will have the body type of somewhere between athletic and hourglass full figured. I prefer a woman who is not afraid to show her emotions, specifically those of tenderness and kindness, who is big on hugs and kisses like I am.

I know that most women frown on a guy that have themselves as the main topic of conversation, and I don't typically go there, but I guess this forum is the exception. So, as for myself, I am an easy going guy. I have good work and play ethics, am financially secure and am not too hard to look at. I have a professional career that I love and wouldn't rather be doing anything else. I work for a great company and plan to stay with them indefinitely. I have a side business out of my home as well. I just recently moved into my new home and I absolutely love it. I have an old english sheepdog (Gus) who just turned 6 months old and who I love to death.

I am told I have a good sense of humor. I try to stay in shape. I am a bit of a loner, but I like people in general and am very comfortable in social settings. I have a best buddy who I ride motorcycles with (we mountain bike and downhill ski too, but it's been awhile).

Life is what you make it. I am the kind of person who tends to make lemonade when I get lemons, turn adversity into an opportunity to do or learn something new. An excellent sports analogy I once heard is that "Life is not about avoiding curve balls, life is about learning to hit a curve ball".

I am looking at this moment in my life as a fresh new start in my search for my soul mate. I am not saying that I'm not interested in meeting new women "friends", just that if my dream girl comes along then the "friends" will be just friends.
